Impulsive Buy reader Gabe T sent in this photo taken at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Coral Springs, Florida that showcases McDonald’s new Donut Sticks.
According to the McDonald’s website, the sweet treat features sweet golden-brown dough, sprinkled with cinnamon sugar and is made fresh every morning. It comes with 6 or 12 pieces and is available nationwide at participating locations until late April. Here’s the product photo on the McDonald’s website:

McDonald’s, why not just go superior churros?
New Mcdonald’s stuff? Always a plus!
I thought I read a few years ago that McDonald’s was testing some sweet carb items for breakfast (things like coffee cake and muffins) but I guess nothing came of it except this.
All sorts of items get tested and never make the cut….I never got my Chobani Greek Yogurt Parfait or Fried Apple Pies and don’t even get me started on the Coffee Flavor Shots.
Stopped there for breakfast this morning & they threw a free one in my bag… I wasn’t impressed.
