To make watermelon jerky, I imagine taking out all the water is necessary. So, technically, it’s waterless watermelon jerky. (Spotted by Sylvia at Trader Joe’s.)

ah I really want to try the watermelon jerky, but I don’t want to drive 30+ mins for one item :/
There’s a thorough review of it on WhatsGoodAtTraderJoes.com, if that helps
I must get that meringue. I’ve been making due with the vanilla ever since the LT coffee one was d/c. Happy day!
Good to see the meringue making a come-back. I never understood why TJ abandoned its meringue line years back. 🙁
Trader Joe’s said in their fearless flyer that one of their supplier abruptly discontinued the meringues. That supplier was Miss Meringues (the irony) and that company went bankrupt. So they had to find a new supplier that would fit Tj’s standards. Now it starting to come back. I LOVE THE PEPPERMINT MERINGUES! I plowed thru 2 boxes of these in a week. I would love to see lemon and or lime flavor which would be perfect pairing.
The company was crowned by Champagne Bakery. You can still buy vanilla ones there. But not any other flavours or the sugar free ones. Not sure who makes the vanilla ones for Trader Joe’s now, but I’m pretty sure it’s the same company that makes the cocoa ones (found Em and they’re great!).
@Alek: Thanks for the dope on the meringues. So many of my TJ favorites and staples, which would seem to be popular items, seem to go by the wayside: chocolate decadence cheesecake, the meringues, tomatillo and chipotle enchiladas, sourdough bread boules, Brussels sprouts . . . . Sigh.
