Subway, the popular fast food chain we rarely cover on this site for some reason, has added two new varieties to its Signature Wraps line — Sesame-Ginger Glazed Chicken and Sweet N’ Smoky Steak & Guac. According to Subway, the protein-packed wraps have double the meat of an average 6-inch sub.
The Sweet N’ Smoky Steak & Guac Signature Wrap features savory steak smothered in a Guajillo Mesquite Sauce, guacamole, shredded Monterey Cheddar, lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, red onions, black olives, and jalapenos in a tomato basil wrap.
It has 690 calories, 30 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 1 gram of trans fat, 90 milligrams of cholesterol, 2230 milligrams of sodium, 66 grams of carbohydrates, 6 grams of fiber, 8 grams of sugar, and 41 grams of protein.
The Sesame-Ginger Glazed Chicken Signature Wrap features rotisserie-style chicken with a sesame ginger glaze, shredded Monterey cheddar, spinach, cucumbers, and red onions in a spinach wrap.
If you were to eat the whole thing, you’d consume 700 calories, 31 grams of fat, 11 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 110 milligrams of cholesterol, 1810 milligrams of sodium, 61 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 11 grams of sugar, and 47 grams of protein.
Both Signature Wraps will be available until April 24 at participating restaurants.
