Sonic has done the difficult task of putting a fried egg on a burger. It could’ve topped one with its tots, a corn dog, or a breaded chicken breast. But no! It went with an egg. So when the question, “Which came first, the chicken or the egg on a Sonic burger” comes up, you now know the answer.
Sonic’s Brunch Burger features a 100 percent pure beef patty topped with cheese, bacon, tomato, mayonnaise, and a fried egg on a bakery-soft brioche bun. It’s available all-day and comes with a side of medium tots for $2.99. A version with double the beef called the Bigger Brunch Burger is also available a la carte for $4.99.
The Brunch Burgers are available for a limited time at participating Sonic Drive-Ins.
