Wendy’s follow-up to its line of Made to Crave Cheeseburgers is a new range of Made to Crave Chicken Sandwiches. There are three in the lineup — Avocado BLT, S’Awesome Bacon Chicken, and Barbecue Chicken.
Avocado BLT features a grilled chicken fillet, muenster cheese, three strips of Applewood-smoked bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and a buttermilk ranch sauce on a warm and fluffy premium bun. It has a suggested price of $5.99.
The sandwich has 610 calories, 30 grams of fat, 9 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 130 milligrams of cholesterol, 1240 milligrams of sodium, 39 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 7 grams of sugar, and 46 grams of protein.
The S’Awesome Bacon Chicken Sandwich is made with seasoned and breaded Homestyle chicken fillet, muenster cheese, three Applewood-smoked bacon strips, lettuce, tomatoes, and Wendy’s Side of S’Awesome sauce on a premium bun. This sandwich has a suggested price of $5.49.
This sandwich has 670 calories, 34 grams of fat, 10 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 110 milligrams of cholesterol, 1530 milligrams of sodium, 54 grams of carbohydrates, 3 grams of fiber, 8 grams of sugar, and 38 grams of protein.
Finally, there’s the Barbecue Chicken Sandwich that comes with a spicy chicken fillet, muenster cheese, crispy fried onions, pickles, and a sweet and smoky Kansas City-style barbecue sauce on a premium bun. You can get it for $5.49.
It has 650 calories, 26 grams of fat, 8 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 80 milligrams of cholesterol, 1580 milligrams of sodium, 69 grams of carbohydrates, 4 grams of fiber, 14 grams of sugar, and 34 grams of protein.
While the sandwiches are advertised with different chicken fillets, you can swap one for another. Also, Wendy’s would probably want us to mention that those fillets are all white meat chicken with no artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors from artificial sources.
