Is it me, or did it seem like in past decades, major food manufacturers like Kelloggs, Nabisco, etc., would actually create new flavors or products for holidays rather than just re-badging regular versions of food products for the holidays?
I actually think the opposite is true. When I was a kid, we would only get new colors of M&Ms, Kisses, and Oreos for holidays. Now, new flavors of those foods are a staple of the holidays. They still make Pumpkin Pie and Sugar Cookie Pop-Tarts, which were unheard of two decades ago.
