Is making deep fried finger foods taste like a burger a trend now? Jack in the Box tested the idea and now Carl’s Jr. has done it with its new Western Fries.
The new side is a different take on the chain’s popular Western Bacon Cheeseburger. It includes a serving of crispy natural cut fries, coated in a brand new Western seasoning that, according to Carl’s Jr., delivers all the taste of the Western Bacon Cheeseburger including BBQ sauce, charbroiled beef patties, cheese, and even notes of the sesame seed bun.
Oh, but that’s not all from Carl’s Jr. regarding the Western Bacon Cheeseburger.
It’s also offering for a limited time a Triple Western Bacon Cheeseburger that includes THREE charbroiled all-beef patties (but you probably figured that out from its name), three slices of American cheese, three (just kidding, there’s four for some reason) slices of Applewood-smoked bacon, crispy onions rings, and a tangy BBQ sauce on a seeded bun.
The two menu items are available at participating Carl’s Jr. restaurants nationwide. The Western Fries start at $2.99, while the Triple Western Bacon Cheeseburger starts at $7.99.
