After three years of testing, Pizza Hut has relaunched its Original Pan Pizza for the first time since it debuted in 1980. Although, one of the complaints I’ve read about Pizza Hut is how its Pan Pizza doesn’t taste as good as it did back in the 1980s. Maybe formulations have changed or maybe the red tumblers in its restaurants made everything taste better?
The new and improved version features a crispier golden brown buttery crust and a more flavorful blend of cheese and sauce. In order to achieve the crust Pizza Hut wanted, it created a newly engineered pan.
To get folks to try the new Original Pan Pizza, the chain is offering a large 2-topping Original Pan Pizza for $7.99 when ordering online.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.
