While doing my due diligence, I learned Squashies come from the U.K. and are foam gummies. I also learned TWO BILLION Smarties candy rolls are sold every year. (Spotted by Erin K at Hy-Vee.)

in Canada Smarties are similar, but not quite as good as M&Ms. With the slogan “when you eat your smarties do you eat the red ones last?”
Wait?…How are smarties similar to M&M’s aside from being small bite sized candy?
Outside of the US, Smarties are actually chocolates in a candy shell, only larger. I learned that overseas while in the Navy
Yup. Like M&ms but flatter. In Canada, the pressed sugar candies are called Rockets.
I think you’re thinking of Skittles.
Squashies in the Uk are version of some of our ‘sweet shop’ type sweets like Refreshers and Drumstick lollies. I admit i did not know there was an american candy called Smarties and i’ve visited a lot! I’ve tried the drumstick squashies and would rather have the original sweet. would be interested to see the ingredient label on these.
“Fat free, gluten free, peanut free”
I might as well eat styrofoam.
