Update: We tried it! Click here to read our review.
I feel a little bad we’re getting maple Oreo cookies before Canada. (Spotted by Bob K at Walmart.)

Think this is just the waffles and syrup Oreos with a different name?
I personally did not see a major difference. I posted my review yesterday
It’s ok. Nothing will beat made in Canada with for the Canadian market ingredients Maple Sandwich cookies! Or Pirate cookies!
Meh. I tried a bag, and the maple is weak. Don’t get me wrong, the cream definitely tastes like maple. The Oreo does not. I was disappointed that they used golden cookies instead of chocolate, but now I realize chocolate would have overpowered the cream completely. As it is, the golden cookies largely mask it. There’s a semi-premium brand of cookies called Dare that makes a much better Oreo-style maple cookie, and it’s even shaped like a maple leaf. Either their cookie has a more muted taste, or they bothered to infuse it with maple flavor, but their cookie really has a maple taste to it. Or just buy a bag of maple-flavored fudge.
