Taco Bell, the maker of fine discontinued products, like the Double Decker Taco, Beefy Mini Quesadilla, Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco, and Fiery Doritos Locos Tacos, has added a menu item that might make you forget about those — the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa.
The highlight of the new product is its shell, which has real, 6-month aged sharp cheddar cheese baked into it. Like the original Chalupa, the Toasted Cheddar Chalupa is filled with either seasoned beef, chicken, or steak, and then shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, grated cheddar cheese, and reduced-fat sour cream are added.
Pricing for the new menu item starts at $2.49. It’s also available in a $5 Box that also comes with two Crunchy Tacos and a medium soda, which you can use to pour one out for all the recently discontinued Taco Bell menu items.
