Sugar Cookie Pop-Tarts’ box got a redesign this year, and it’s the best design. Well, I’m a sucker for ugly sweater packaging, which is the reason why I still have these Pringles cans from 2016, so there’s a lot of bias in my opinion. Also, how can one NOT like the fact that a deer is wearing a sweater that says “Dear” on the pastry’s frosting. That is adearable.
If you look at previous box designs, you might agree with me that the 2019 version is the best. Here’s last year’s box:
And here’s the design that Sugar Cookie Pop-Tarts used for many years, starting in 2011 (click here for our review, if you’re interested). This photo was taken in 2014:
The original box is kid cute. The 2018 version looks like I’m hanging out in a wampa cave on Hoth. And the 2019 version looks like something I would not be ashamed to put into my cart. Which is your favorite box design?

Yep, I’m with you – I love the deer in the ugly dear sweater – it’s cute and funny and catches my eye. I’ve never tried sugar cookie poptarts! I bet they’re yummy.
2019 is the best, although the placement of the two Pop-Tarts makes it look like they’re longer and more narrow than regular Pop-Tarts.
I dearly love the current one! (The link to the review isn’t working for me).
