I feel Pop-Tarts with a cookie crust would’ve been more appealing. But I do love alliteration, and Pop-Tarts Pretzel is fun to say. (Spotted by Jennifer B at Spring Market.)

As a fan of anything sweet+salty, I was very excited to try these. Had the cinnamon sugar which unfortunately was a big let-down. Lots of pretzel “aroma”, but no pretzel or salty taste. At room temperature the pretzel “top” seemed more like dry shoe-leather. Heating improved things a little bit, but still no pretzel+cinnamon sugar taste. Very disappointing.
I tried both flavors, and at best I can say the Cinnamon Sugar flavor was pretzel-colored. For some reason the Chocolate flavor looked really pale in comparison.
