Krispy Kreme has added to its permanent menu mini versions of the chain’s four most popular doughnuts. Its Mini Doughnuts are available in the following varieties: Original Glazed, Chocolate Iced Glazed, Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles, and Strawberry Iced with Sprinkles.
The doughnuts are being promoted as a way to help customers keep their New Year’s resolutions by being the perfect treat for their “cheat days” since each one is less than 100 calories.
To promote the new line, participating Krispy Kreme locations will be holding “Mini Mondays” — a happy hour from 4 to 7 p.m. each Monday in January when patrons can get a free mini doughnut of their choice.
