It’s a Christmas surprise in November! Also, I’m a little disappointed this isn’t Lay’s Pumpkin Spice Potato Chips. Maybe next year? (Spotted by Craig B at Kroger.)

  1. It doesn’t hurt if they drenched into caramel/toffee like coating. Like they did for the chocolate covered chips.

    1. Ooh! or what if you still had the salted caramel chip and THEN enrobed it in chocolate…

    1. Woah you’re not kidding. I just checked my inbox and there hasn’t been a single Spotted in over a month. I’ve actually been wondering why I don’t remember seeing crazy products in a while.

      1. I was thinking the same thing. I thought this portion of the website was phased out. Glad there’s a new Spotted added.

    2. I actually sent in a couple of things for spotted during that time period. Don’t know if they weren’t actually new or if Marvo just didn’t have time to post them.

    1. There are some other food blogs out that that are heavier on new item intros than reviews. I think this issue came up a while back and I seem to remember Marvo saying that he’s been busier now due to a new edition to his fam.

      1. Spotted was the main reason to visit this blog for me. Looks like I have to visit more than just this one blog 🙂

Guys, Marvo informed everyone in late spring that he (this was implied) didn’t think it was safe to have people hanging out in grocery stores longer than necessary and touching products they might never purchase. As a result he indicated submissions should only be for purchased items photographed at home.

    1. Yes, I remember that post from Marvo, and I did indeed dare to enter Kroger in full pandemic gear, purchase these chips and photograph them at home, on my kitchen stove. Likewise with my other recent Spotted item, that ‘Brach’s Turkey Dinner Flavored Candy Corn.’ Which I haven’t opened yet.

    2. Both of my submissions were purchased products photographed at home. And what you stated doesn’t explain almost two months with no Spotted posts
