This looks good, but I’d like to see Pop-Tarts come out with sophisticated pie flavors like rhubarb strawberry pie. I guarantee Kellogg’s will sell dozens. (Spotted by @TheJoshCatlett at Dierbergs.)

Creme Brulee flavor could been done. This would be a genius one since creme brulee has that crunchy sugar topping. When toasting the sugar bits caramelize.
Other flavor ideas:
Neapolitan: Chocolate pastry with vanilla & strawberry filling (splitz)
Coconut Cream: Coconut Cream Filling
Acai Berry: New Acai filling
Neapolitan! I could get behind that
I guess it’s probably because I don’t buy Pop-Tarts too often, but I had higher hopes for these. I forgot how little filling they put inside Pop-Tarts. Like the thinnest sliver amount of Lemon filling to barely give it flavor. Not a bad flavor per se, just not much flavor in general. Or maybe I just got a bad box of them? I just don’t remember Pop-Tarts having so little filling to the point where it’s like eating a dry cookie. You taste the dough more than anything with hint of lemon flavor.
I’d still part with the money to try the Peach Cobbler and Mango flavored ones whenever they get released. I guess i should expect more of the same though with tasting more dough than filling. I see why some people prefer Toaster Strudels instead.
