This was damn near a honey/cinnamon bun edition.
Haha, I noted that too. 🙂
As did I! haha
No luck finding the berry honey buns at Walmart yet. Tried 3 different stores and it doesn’t seem to be on their app yet.
that is most certainly NOT a NY crumb cake at all. No crumbs
I was thinking the same thing. New Yorkers will certainly have a lot to say about this.
Well, there does appear to be a crumb topping. Though, granted that these are in a plastic container and reduced price? That topping is now a soggy streusel.
A filled donut…with a hole.
Good one, Wally World.
It’s their generic answer to the Krispy Kreme donuts that are so popular now. I have never taken the chance on purchasing the Walmart baked goods, are they any good?
NO! They’re terrible! Although, I will admit that I like their lemon cake slices, but they’re terrible as well. I’m just not real picky when it comes to lemon.
I like the cherry fritters myself (think apple fritters but cherry instead) but yeah they’re mostly super generic donuts. Taste like what Krispy Kreme has become for the most part.
The pie bites are meh and def not worth $5.
Haha. I just heard the other day someone refer to WalMart as Wally World. I said YES! National Lampoon’s! And then they were like “What are you talking about?” …and then I again felt old and dumb and weird…meh, I embrace it.
I’m only 28 and I know what Wally World is! My dad was obsessed with Vacation, so we watched it as a family many times. It’s both hilarious and cringy at the same time.
Got the pie bites. They are $5 basically for 10 of them. Woof.
Keep your terrible pie bites away from me, please. Why ruin pie by covering it in a chocolaty coating? It’s not even real chocolate. If you enjoyed them, that’s fine, but they sound super gross to me.
How are they? And honestly, doesn’t really sound like that bad of a price point for a confection.
It does when a full pie at a grocery store doesn’t cost that much more. Even if I were interested in them, I wouldn’t be able to get past the price. Too expensive, IMHO.
These are a different concept though, and the process of manufacturing them most likely takes much longer than one pie. Oh well, just my two cents.
Possibly. Personally, I’d rather buy a whole frozen pie and then drizzle it with melted chocolate, rather than buy these. The only appealing thing about these is the convenience factor, IMHO.
I don’t recommend. They are ok.
