Blue Bell’s recent flavors have been chocolate–heavy. So it’s refreshing to see Blue Bell give chocolate a break and put out a coconut-heavy flavor. (Spotted by Jim R at Fry’s Food Stores.)

ooooh, looks good. i much prefer not-chocolate ice cream myself and only sometimes go for coconut. but recently i was craving the pepperidge farm coconut freezer cake and this looks like it would hit the spot.
Are you pregnant? No offense intended, but I cannot imagine why anyone would crave the PFCC otherwise. I tried it a few years ago. NEVER AGAIN!
NO! haha, no babies for me, thank you. but i do order kids meals on the regular.
i haven’t had it in 20+ years. just a random nostalgic craving and it had passed until i saw this post. besides, i imagine the recipe/ingredient quality has changed enough in the last few decades so that it might taste similar but not the same as i remember.
It was really bad. I recommend that you save your money for something else, but totally up to you. 🙂 And damn those nostalgia cravings! Such a pain in the butt! No kids for me, either. If I want to hear the putter patter of little feet, I’ll put shoes on my cats. 😀 Also, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with an adult getting a kid’s meal. Sebastian Stan went to McDonald’s and got a kid’s meal after he lost his virginity, LMAO.
Nothing wrong with indulging in nostalgic cravings! I do it too! Always have to prepare myself to be let down, that’s ok though! Food memories are very sentimental. More power to you.
I’m saying that those sentimental food cravings are a pain in the butt because a lot of times the quality of the product has gone WAY down. Or they don’t even make the item(s) anymore. I will crave Planter’s PB Crisps until the day I die!
You guys need to get your hands on and review Van Leeuwen’s Kraft Mac and Cheese ice cream…
“Great. Thanks for the nightmare fuel.”
I have never understood why coconut is such a divisive flavor. People only seem to love it, or hate it. Nothing in between. I plant my flag in the love coconut camp, so I will definitely be trying this!
You say this, though in many of your comments you are very much a love/hate certain flavours kind of person. 😉
Yeah, but coconut seems to be the only flavor that almost everyone either loves or hates. No in between.
