Here are some interesting new products found on store shelves by your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.
While this may be nitpicky and the flavor does sound good, it seems like weird to call it “fluffernutter” when it’s not using real Fluff.
I think it all comes down to copyrights and legal stuff as to how they got around being able to call it such.

For some reason I really want to try that Blue Cookie Crunch ice cream, but I don’t have Kroger where I live. 🙁 It’s probably because I love cookies and cream and I used to love Superman ice cream (rainbow vanilla flavor) when I was a kid. I’m sure it’s nothing special, but I really want it.
Kroger owns a whole bunch on local stores. If your store carries “Private Selections” then it is a Kroger. However, you are right, if the box says Kroger then it is limited to Kroger branded stores. But check the ice cream section anyway. Maybe a Private Selections flavor will pop up that is the same.
The blue cookie crunch product is actually not an “ice cream”…the label states it’s merely a “frozen dairy dessert”…it’s a bit sneaky how only some of the Kroger frozen products are formulated that way.
Most of the products at that price point are.
The fluffer ice cream sounds good, but no Kroger products of any kind around here. I live in the land of General Mills, malto meal now owned by Post, and pillsbury. Maybe they have one though. Hmmmm.
