It’s as if Van Leeuwen is daring us to combine the Dill Pickle flavor with the Kraft Mac & Cheese one. (Spotted by Tommy at Walmart.)
If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email (theimpulsivebuy@gmail.com) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.
I know all the flavors can’t be wacky (nor should they be), but cookies ‘n’ cream and peppermint seem like awfully basic flavors for Van Leeuwen.
it’s cookies’n’cream… now with extra holiday-appropriate food coloring! that’s what makes it special :p
It’s an exciting new flavor to dye for!
was waiting for this post. the kettle corn and pickle are both spot on
Considering how these waves are often on clearance at mt WalMart…. STOP making them. Wasteful company, just give us a better brand Walmart. And I’m glad most reviewers are ignoring them as they should.
These are never on clearance at our Walmart. Maybe it’s just your area. Plus, this is some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. It’s delicious!
Kettle corn is intriguing. And definitely peppermint stick. Can we lose the lactose on some of them though, v. L.?
(Lactose will be the next flavor, I’m sure).
I tried the peanut butter fudge pretzel and was underwhelmed…uneven distribution of fudge swirl in the pb ice cream and plain, soggy pretzel sticks. It would have been a lot better if they could have actually dipped the pretzels and kept them crunchy. I’m a sucker for limited edition flavors, but I’ve gotten fooled too many times by a Van Leeuwen flavor that sounded good but ended up being mediocre.
