Yay! A gluten free version! But it’s still not free of that exclamation point that seems unnecessary. (Spotted by Amanda Y at Walmart.)
If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.
Always catering to the small group of people that are gluten intolerant, but not to the diabetic people which outnumber them
I seriously doubt they’re catering to people with Celiac Disease who can’t eat gluten. There’s still a plethora of goons who are physiologically fine eating gluten but are brainwashed into thinking by avoiding gluten they’ll live to be 100.
As far as Diabetes, I’m pretty sure products labeled “sugar free” made from Splenda or whatever are plentiful enough, what more do you want?
Yeah, I agree. Also, diabetes means you have to monitor your own carbs and glucose levels. Everyone’s blood sugar is different, so it’s not very easy to cater to all diabetics — especially given that Type 1 and Type 2 are pretty different.
I have diabetes and my 12 year old daughter has celiac disease. Gotta say, I find your comment a bit ignorant. This is not some kind of disease Olympics.
I don’t care about Chips Ahoy, but I am ecstatic that my daughter can now have them. It’s much more difficult for her to go out to eat or find safe food choices than it is for me, I don’t have to worry about cross contamination. If she gets cross contaminated by a crumb, it can make her sick.
So chips ahoy is now gluten free.
Well time to start boycotting trhem and never buying their products again.
