SPOTTED: Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen Funyuns

Maruchan Hot & Spicy Chicken Ramen Funyuns.

I would love a Maruchan Spicy Miso Ramen Funyuns. (Spotted by Amanda Y at 7-Eleven.)

If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email ([email protected]) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

  1. I hate Funyuns so I’ll be giving these a miss. Andy Capo’s beer battered onion rings are better, IMHO.

    1. I’m on the opposite boat… both of the Capp’s onion rings I had were vile to me; funny how tastes work.

    2. Here’s a thought… Why not come out with a flavor that’s not going to be so weird to the point of turning away a lot of the funyun fans? How about sour cream and onion or something like that?

      1. I do agree that there should be more “standard” Funyuns flavors, it’s a sadly underutilized brand. But something isn’t “weird to the point of turning people away” just because it’s weird to you, and you do not represent “a lot of the funyun fans”. Hot chicken ramen is incredibly popular, and I can easily imagine the sodium-bomb flavor packet flavor working well with the taste/texture of Funyuns.

  2. /11I’d probably buy these if I saw them, but I’m not going to 7/11
I’ve been sprinkling chili powder on regular ones forever, I’ll have to try a little chicken bullion in there also
