Update: We tried it! Click here to read our review.
I’m not sure why these are called Werewolf Tracks. I can see the top part maybe representing the moon. (Spotted by Sage G at Lowes Foods.)
If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email (theimpulsivebuy@gmail.com) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.
Funny you say this as it was quite confusing for many people on various social media sites.
According to an early leaker who spoke to a Reese’s rep directly (unverified, but this leaked back in January) – this is a name play on moose tracks ice cream which consists of vanilla ice cream and peanut butter cups.
While there was no discussion of the top of the Reeses cup imitating a full moon – I immediately picked up on this as well as both a fervent foodie and werewolf monster superfan.
Honestly, I taste little to no difference from the Halloween Lovers cups which are half white, half chocolate. Perhaps a slightly sweeter vanilla, but it may entirely be placebo effect from the packaging saying so. The name and the cute werewolf arm/claws packaging totally set them apart as my newest favorite Halloween Reeses PB cups. Reeses White Chocolate Ghosts remain my GOAT Reeses creation tho.
