There are over 600 Texas Roadhouse locations in the US. I have not been to any of them. Is it any good? (Spotted by Amanda Y at Walmart.)

If you’re out shopping and see new products, snap a picture of them, and send them in via an email (theimpulsivebuy@gmail.com) with where you found them and “Spotted” in the subject line. Also, if you want to send in photos and are wondering if we’ve already covered something or if they’re new, don’t worry about it. Let us worry about it.

  1. Interesting! I did not see or know to look for the butters, but I saw the frozen rolls. Bought 2 packs. Devoured one in about 24 hours. This will be my new go-to rolls for holiday meals, that’s a fact. Light, fluffy, buttery. A bit costly at $5.99 for 12, but they are Carb Worthy!

  2. I’ve never been either, but the rolls look delicious. I also love the Cheesecake Factory brown bread rolls they sell in grocery stores. I think I’ve only been to a Cheesecake Factory once or twice in my life, but the bread is amazing!

  3. It’s quite good. Nothing you have to go out of your way to try, but if you come across one in your travels, you shouldn’t be disappointed.

I’ve also seen Texas Roadhouse steak sauce sold at Kroger.

  4. Texas Road House is awesome, love the Filet Medallions, we always take a ziploc to take some extra rolls home. Looking forward to having them on hand.

  5. I’ve been to Texas Roadhouse once. I had rattlesnake bites and loved them. I don’t remember trying the rolls. I bought the Honey Cinnamon spread and hate it. It’s fake tasting, not that strong on the honey, but I do notice a little cinnamon.

The packaging is a little confusing. The butter and the frozen rolls.. there’s two different pictures of rolls.

  6. The “buttery spreads” contain no butter, so I would avoid those as it’s almost entirely vegetable oils and the cinnamon honey has almost no flavor. Didn’t notice that is was a bait and switch before buying unfortunately.

  7. do yourself a favor and look for the “Better Butter” honey cinnamon spread. Walmart and Kroger also have an OEM version but man it is DELICIOUS and made from, you guessed it, actual butter.
