I love their plain ole bbq sauce! Frys dipped in it is the BEST.
robble robble, here come’s a happy meal beanie baby dipped in honey
Sweet N Sour, hands down. McNuggets aren’t McNuggets without it.
My favorite happy meal toys were from The Land Before Time, like 20+ years ago…. still got a couple of them.
robble robble.
My favorite happy meal toy were the McNugget Buddies because, as Texan, I must like anything that in a cowboy hat.
1. I’m going with those McNugget Buddies that had the interchangeable parts like Mr. Potato Head.
2. Sweet Chili or the limited edition Habanero as my favorite Chicken McNuggets sauce.
3. Uhm… yeah,… not going to happen, but I am just as upset, lol
4. and finally… “robble robble.”
Sweet ‘n Sour sauce with my Chicken McNuggets — yes!!
robble robble! i need my sweet & sour sauce!
robble robble
Back in the day, they had mini Ty beanie babies… I was in my 20s, but I ate way too damn many happy meals to collect ’em all. Robble, robble.
I super duper loved those Astrosnick toys from the 80’s! My favorite was the gold robot one, that was a HUGE day when I got that one. Mind you I didn’t get it from a Happy Meal, but paid a pretty penny for it at a garage sale when I was probably 7 or 8. And by a pretty penny, I mean probably around a dollar. 🙂
Hot Mustard Bitch!
Because I am great, I have chosen to do all four.
1. I don’t recall the name, but they were a serious of plastic McDonalds food items that could transform into spy gear. McNuggets became a secret camera.. super cool.
2. Sauceless. I’mma rebel.
3.
Dear McDonalds Hawaii Corporate Offices,
How DARE you. I mean.. How DARE you. How D. A. R. E. YOU. Denying the fine citizens of Hawaii the glory of the McDonalds Smores Pie. The pie has been an established McDonalds item for generation upon generation. Yet for as long as time itself, Apple has been the de-facto option. Sure, some markets offer cherry, and various seasonal varieties have been made available – but in terms of a regular, established pie – It’s Apple, baby. Unless you’re in Canada. In that case, it’s Blueberry.
So imagine the excitement that must have come across Hawaii-bound McDonalds Pie Fanatics (not a niche group, I ASSURE YOU) – when news of the Smores pie broke across the internet. Celebrations broke out across the land marked with fireworks, hula dancing, and whatever else Hawaiians traditionally do to celebrate fast food pie flavor announcements. But time passed, and the Smores pie never made it to the islands. A deep sorrow and depression covered the land. The Hawaiins, much like the Alaskans, are no stranger to being shorted on fast food promotions. Shipping means price-based ad campaigns are for naught. And specialty items are privy to the foods abiltiy to be shipped across the sea. But a graham cracker crust, filled with chocolate and marshmallow saucses? Do not try to tell me with a straight face that THAT is beyond the reach of McDonalds vast technological empire. You owe not just the people of Hawaii an apology, but the whole of the United States. You have brought shame upon yourselves, daring to insult our proud brother.
4. Robble Robble
robble robble
Sweet & Sour all the way, robble robble!!
I slathered my McNuggets in the honey dipping sauce. This was the only time I ate honey as a kid; I have no idea why my mum never had any in the house.
Mmm, $25 would buy a lot of McDonalds breakfasts!
2. Your favorite Chicken McNuggets sauce of all time.
Sweet and sour. Sometimes I try BBQ, sometimes honey mustard, but in the end I always return to sweet and sour. It was the first one I used when McNuggets first came out, and I’ve stuck with them since.
Robble robble.
Favorite sauce was honey, I’d put on the McNuggets and the fries.
When I was a kid my favorite sauce was always honey. It was the only one I liked. Now, they have that buffalo sauce and that’s pretty great. I’ll go buffalo sauce.
My favorite Happy Meal toy would have to be the mini Beanie Babies! Child of the 90’s right here!!
Favorite toy: Teenie Beenies!!
I like honey mustard.
Favorite toy were hot wheels…so what if I am a girl? Babies are LAME
Hot Mustard Sauce, of course!
Hot mustard is the only chicken nugget sauce I will eat because I LOVE mustard.
my favorite toy of all time has got to be the creepy madame alexander mad hatter doll from 2010. explanation– after a long night of drinking and sharing ghost stories with friends during grad school, i was the DD for a car full of happily inebriated and slightly terrified girls. my roommate asked to stop by a mcdonald’s on the way home. she was the only one who ordered a happy meal, for the sake of nostalgia. imagine already being scared from hearing a number of real-life ghost stories, and then expecting to pull a dinosaur or hello kitty toy out of your bag only to get this guy [http://www.flickr.com/photos/29399546@N08/4952218347/]
he looks like he should be wielding a miniature butcher knife. we screamed our heads off and for the rest of the semester my roommate and i took turns putting him in weird places holding a paring knife to freak each other out (in the shower, in the fridge, under the blanket, etc). never failed. what were you thinking mcdonalds. honestly.
favorite toy? gotta be the transformers you could put together
robble robble… radda radda? No, robble robble.
My favorite sauce was sweet and sour until they came out with the buffalo and now that ones my fave!
Robble robble, I could go for some Mc’s before, during or after work, robble robble!
Like getting a side of special sauce for the nuggets. ROBBLE ROBBLE
Favorite toy was Nuts the Squirrel Beanie Baby. Because tiny huggable squirrels own.
I always took my chicken nuggets with honey. Nature’s ketchup.
My favorite nugget sauce is sweet and sour.
And while you’re petitioning for the s’mores pie, can you ask them to bring back that holiday pie they had in the late 90’s? Don’t remember the name, but it was shortbread crust and custard filling and my god, I am willing to risk obesity if it returns. I WILL TAKE THAT RISK GLADLY.
I love the madam Alexander dolls and the neo pets! So cute:)
robble robble.
1. Transformers
2. Hot mustard

Dear McDonalds,
I understand that supporting smore-tubes to Hawaii is expensive. But there is a wonderful concept known as socialism that can help us all in this situation. You simply charge all the other states an extra penny for the s’more pie and then you use all that extra money to subsidize the extra cost of bringing it to Hawaii.
Everyone wins. The customers from the contiguous 48 states, plus Alaska, win because, who cares about one penny more, AND they get the satisfaction of knowing they are helping achieve a more equal s’more distribution in this great country of ours. The customers in Hawaii obviously win. And McDonalds sells more smores.
The present situation is simply unfair. Studies show that approximately 2% of States have been deprived of s’mores. Think what feels like to be one of these states. It is time to take a stand for a concept that should be near and dear to all our hearts.. McGalitarianism.
The time before is one to come together as consumer and producer in the name of living up to a higher standard of s’more distribution in this great country. I know that the fine people of McDonalds cry out for we poor the inhabitants of non-smore States. But of course we all know that there is only *one* non-smore State and it is time for us to rise up and act together to end the scourge of McSmorelessness in America.
Sincerely,
Three Pipe Problem

And I loved that hamburger that turned into a robot.
I loved the Beanie Babies, including “Chocolate” the moose, and I still have them!
Favorite nugget sauce? Ketchup. For some reason it just works well enough for me.
I’m old. Happy Meals weren’t part of the menu until i was nine years old and i don’t recall any standouts when comes to toys. I did love my Star Wars drinking glass collection though. Not part of the Happy Meal, but i loved them never-the-less.
“robble robble.”
Oops, that might actually have been Burger King that had the Star Wars glasses. i can’t remember who it was.
My favorite sauce is, was and always will be BBQ, with honey as a very close second.
My favorite promotional item were the Muppet Caper glasses back in 1981. I bought a set on eBay for my sister as a housewarming gift about 10 years ago. She is still using them.
I think I need to check out the s’mores pie. Tonight. Darn you, Impulsive Buy!
Robble, robble.

Dear Hawaii McDonalds Corporate Offices,
Why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why why no S’mores pie??
Fav toy: Mac Tonight driving a car (his head was twice as tall as the car!)
Fav sauce: BBQ, although I haven’t had a lot of the limited edition ones.
How precisely can Hawaii not offer a S’mores Pie from Mackers (McDonald’s)? It’s absolutely ridiculous to consider the fact that while Hawaii has a grand number of things ranging from whole stuffed pigs with apples in their mouths, dishes called ‘Loco Moco’ which consist of white rice topped with a hamburger patty, a fried egg, and brown gravy, the Japanese Tonkatsu, Spam Sushi otherwise known as Spam Musubi, and weird ass Vegetables, Fruits, and the like such as Kahuku Sea Asparagus, Ogo, and well.. This one’s probably not a Vegetable but Coconut! What precisely is Coconut anyway?! But I digress! The fact of the matter is I’m appalled, when I head into a Mackers I’m not heading in for a particularly healthy experience, certainly nothing I’m going to be bragging to my doctor about after-wards because my arteries will likely be more bloated than a beached whale, no quite to the contrary, when I go into a Mackers I’m heading in for the sake of good ‘ole fashion disgusting gut-busting, heart-clogging, blood congealing deep fried crap and while the Pies now may true enough be baked instead of deep fried when I hear other places like Canada have something like a S’mores Pie I expect that places like a beautiful get-away and tourist trap like Hawaii should have it too! Mackers you disgust me! Get the S’mores Pie to Hawaii on the double!
PS: robble robble
PS;PS: (It’s over 200 words! HAH!)
Robble robble, my favorite happy meal toy was Kermit the Frog from Muppet Babies on a skateboard.
I’ve heard that McDonalds in Japan offered the unique toy, a miniature kendama. It’s a version of a ball and cup toy that is used to teach children patience and persistence. Robble robble!

nWo 4 Life robble robble
robble robble nom nom sweet and sour
I had a set of Super Mario 3 toys from McDonald’s that were awesome! My favorite nugget sauce is honey (I think they only have it in Canada though).
I honestly can’t remember a Happy Meal toy that I had. I’m sure I annoyed the ever-lovin’ begeesus out of my parents for Happy Meals, but now I have no idea why.
I like Sweet and Sour mixed with Hot Mustard.
I don’t know about the S’mores pie, but I know about Little Debbie S’mores and they are delicious – maybe you could just smuggle those into the Hawaiian McDonald’s location nearest you?
Robble. Robble.
BTW, ‘frukost’ is swedish for ‘breakfast’…
I used to like the Barbie toys that came with my Happy Meals!
My favorite Happy Meal toy was the plastic Mcnuggets that you could dress up with costumes.
My favorite Mcnugget sauce is the curry sauce that’s available in Singapore’s McDonalds. They need to bring it here to the States.
Beanie babies (I was going to mention some Simpsons toys, but I think those were Burger King’s, oops)
Sweet & Sour, with Honey Mustard a distant 2nd
Dear Sirs:
What is this I hear about your company not making some of the yummiest menu offerings available in Our 50th State? What’s the matter, don’t you believe that Hawaii IS part of the United States? I’ll bet that’s it, you’re a bunch of Birthers trying to deny Our Current President of his legitimacy! Does this have anything to do with your heavily promoted “Sweet Tea”, you Tea Partiers? Well, let me tell you something, I’ve been to Hawaii and I’ve been to places outside the U.S. and Hawaii is more American than any of them… except maybe Ontario, Canada, but I didn’t have any need for their totally-unlike-the-U.S. adequate Health Care while there, so that doesn’t count. But you do NOT block out Hawaii like that… I mean, Carls Jr. is known to be a Right-Wing Wacko burger chain and they have a hamburger with PINEAPPLE on it… what’s more Hawaiian than that? Okay, it’s a totally crappy hamburger, but they sell it in Arizona! Now I understand why you were getting bad beef from the same substandard butchery as In-&-Out (the chain with the Bible citations on their drink cups that tell you to kill all the gays and don’t eat shellfish). What’s next? Red State Only Happy Meal toys featuring Rush Limbaugh? No, you could never do that, he’ll never fit in the little cardboard box.
robble robble
robble robble
The best mcnugget sauce by far was the hot mustard I would order a 20 piece fresh out of the fryer and order a total of 7 sauces some i would pay for but man was it good.

I love good old sweet and sour sauce!
My favorite Happy Meal toy was ANYTHING Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle related!

My FAVE Happy Meal toy was the plastic figure of Mufasa, when they were giving away the Lion King toys, when the movie had just come out in theatres…1992 right?

My favorite happy meal toys of all time was when they did the nuggets as halloween monsters, I was also a big fan of trick or treat buckets.
It wasn’t so much a Happy Meal toy as it was the container itself. Back in the 80’s they had train shaped plastic happy meal containers. I loved those things.
As for nugget sauce, yeah my fav nugget sauce is also no longer around, Just plain ol simple honey.

Unpopular opinion- I like my Mcnuggets plain.

Favorite happy meal toys as a child were probably the Fraggle Rock set.
Sweet and Sour!
robble robble, boy, that was easy
My favorite McNugget sauce is barbecue.
fave sauce for chicken mcnuggets = honey! 🙂
Favorite Chicken McNuggets sauce of all time: hot mustard. Well, that’s only partly true: it’s actually one nugget with barbecue sauce followed by one with hot mustard sauce, followed by one with barbecue sauce followed by one with hot mustard sauce, etc. etc., ’til done . . . . Don’t know why, although I guess it’s the ultimate mix in me of the tangy and sweet of the barbecue, and the hot and spicy of the mustard.
;^)
Robble robble! I always loved those little creepy dolls they put in there as a kid. Especially if they were Disney characters.
I will have to say sweet and sour, robble robble….
The mini beanie babies! Or the Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards tie ins from the early/mid 90s.
I’d say a toss up for honey and buffalo sauce for the mcnuggets.
Robble robble 😉
I have a little Yoda Happy Meal toy that I keep in my car as a good luck charm.
Clearly the Batman toys released during the first run of the movie were the greatest. I also seem to remember a craze when the Beanie Babies came out.

HA! I just remembered we got a copy of The Addams Family Values from McDonald’s. It wasn’t Happy Meal related though. I think you got it for free with a special combo meal. Jesus, I used to LOVE the horrible rap song in that movie.

Also, to enter the contest, I was addicted to the pokemon toys when they had them way back in the 90s. And the my little ponies. What a combo.
Obviously the only acceptable choice for Chicken McNugget dipping is Honey Mustard.
The BEST Chicken nugget sauce is hands down, HONEY 🙂
Hot mustard FTW
Best happy meal car: Those toy cars that were noisy and you rolled them back and forth and let them go and they went fast (by a kid’s standard)
1. Furbys. The little mini furbys. Furbies? Furbys? Whatever. I collected near every single one of those bastards. My Mcdonalds held trading parties.
I also have fond memories of some from Halloween from really long ago. I remember something like little chicken nugget guys you put into halloween costumes.
2. Sweet and Sour= Best for dipping a mcdouble in and dipping fries in. Also decent for nuggets. Honey “sauce” for nuggets alone.
3. Hawaii McDonalds, I don’t even have 200 words for you. Shameful. Don’t deprive the poor Hawaiians of that deliciousness.
4. ROBBLE ROBBLE
robble robble
I haven’t had a McNugget for years but I always chose the sweet and sour sauce. I’d like to try the Hot Habanero sauce!

MY LITTLE PONY!

Robble robble!
My favorite Happy Meal toys were the Batman toys I got about 2 years ago… yes, as a 22 year-old. I still have them displayed in my living room. I was impressed that I visited maybe 4 times during their run and managed to get a unique toy every time.
I am a nerd.
HOT MUSTARD!!!!!!!!!
I honestly can’t remember a favorite Happy Meal toy, and I don’t eat sauce with Chicken McNuggets, and I’m NOT writing to corp, so I guess I have to limp in on this with
“robble robble.”
the dinosaur transformer toys that turned mcdonalds foods into dinosaurs
My favorite happy meal toy were those robot dogs, forgot what they were called. I had the actual toy which was a much bigger more functual robot dog, and would pretend the happy meal toys were it’s puppy’s. I practically had a robot dog army. Luckily they didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Instead they fell in my cereal.
BBQ Sauce
The transforming dinosaur happy meal toys were awesome!
Robble robble!
“robble robble.”
No toy will ever beat the pokeball that came with a “gold” plated Pokemon card inside!
Best sauce ever has to be the sweet and sour. It’s the perfect compliment to a McD’s nugget.
ROBBLE ROBBLE 🙂
Honey mustard–at least that’s what I remember (haven’t had McNuggets since I turned vegetarian 19 years ago… but I HAVE had other eats at McD’s)!
I would love to win this gift card so I can get McD’s on the fly – robble robble. My fav sauce is sweet and sour, and I worked at Mc Donald’s in the 1980s.

My favorite mcnuggets sauce is barbeque. Hey I tell people I eat at Mcd’s – I don’t care what they tell me!
My Favorite Happy Meal Toy – The Chicken McNuggets that are dressed up for Halloween. Each McNugget came with a top and bottom that you could mix and match. Proud to say, mine are still rocking on a book shelf in my house. Except for the Ronald McDonald outfit…too creepy.
I’d likely use it to buy a buttload of fries and ice cream .
Robble Robble- doesn’t anyone else think the BK King was way creepier than any clown?
And no s’mores in Hawaii? O.O I feel your pain…so I ate one myself, lol
My favorite sauce is honey mustard. Perfect combination with the nuggets and fries.

robble robble
R…Rob…Robbl….Robbl…I can’t do it!
Favorite toy of all time, got to be the Furbys from the late 90’s. Did you know in Furbish “robble robble” means “excuse me, can you tell me when the next train arrives?”
My favorite Happy Meal toys were the original Power Rangers ones they had for the first movie. They were actually pretty chintzy, but they also had these ‘premium’ toys that you had to pay extra for which were awesome (back then). They had one for each ranger, and they came with a small figure and their Zords which they could actually fit in. Bless my mom, she actually ran all around town to different locations just to find them all for my sister and me (we had three each).
Robble Robble
I love Sweet and sour. The best toy I got was a truck that had teeth you could use to bite. It was blue

If I was up to it, I would write a 200-word letter to McRoH to bring the special flavored baked pies to Hawaii. I’m tired of the Haupia and Taro. I did suggest it to a manager once but she just laughed… robble robble. (sigh)
i like the sweet and sour
The Hawaii McDonald’s locations don’t offer S’mores Pies? How rude.
Honey mustard, robble robble.
