SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 2/15/2013

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers.

Limited Edition Lucky Charms with Green Clovers

I hope this Limited Edition Lucky Charms with Green Clovers cereal turns milk green, so that it makes it possible to start your St. Patrick’s Day with green milk and end it with green beer. (Spotted by Kelcey at Pathmark.)

Doritos Jacked Ranch Dipped Buffalo Wings

These Doritos Jacked Ranch Dipped Hot Wings were available early last year, but it seemed like they were available in limited markets. Recently, I’ve seen it pop up on store shelves here on this rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, so it could be that they’ve rolled it out nationwide this year. (Spotted by Jonathan at Weis Markets.)

Betty Crocker Sweet Rewards Buttercream Bites

Thank goodness there are chocolatey Betty Crocker treats I don’t need to mix, bake, put a toothpick through, and cool down before eating. (Spotted by Anneliese at 7-Eleven.)

Dark Choco Strawberry Mini Musketeers

I’m sorry. Perhaps it would’ve been better if I let you know about these 3 Musketeers Strawberry with Dark Chocolate before Valentine’s Day. But now that it’s after Valentine’s Day, you might be able to pick some up at a deep discount. So I take back my apology and say, “You’re welcome.” (Spotted by Linda at Target.)

Honey Maid Angry Birds

Here’s a birds and bees combination that doesn’t involve any awkwardness. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)

Thank you to all the photo contributors! 1. Why does the Lucky Charms guy look like he’s coming to get me while I sleep? Creepy.

  2. The strawberry Three Musketeers are tasty, though almost too sweet. Found them at half price yesterday. Probably should have purchased two bags. Oh well.

  3. I would rather my children be forced to boil up and eat an old leather saddle than to eat any of this garbage. The only thing lucky about Lucky Charms is that you don’t acquire a learning disability from the chemicals in it.
As for Doritos constantly trying to become MORE INTENSE, just spray down some plain tortilla chips with good quality LSD and skip the ridiculous ads.

  4. From past experience with green-colored food (green bagels for St. Patrick’s Day), coloring the milk green isn’t what you need to be concerned about. Rather, you… well, just eat a few bowls of that Lucky Charms Verde and wait; you’ll find out what I mean eventually.
