Pros: Sweet caramel icing prevents this Toaster Strudel from headin’ on down to Blandville. Gooey filling and icing. Crispy, flaky, and slightly buttery exterior when toasted properly. Being able to sign your name on a Toaster Strudel with an icing packet.
Cons: Apple filing was light on flavor. Caramel icing has more flavor than the apple filling. Apple filling doesn’t have tiny bits of apple to add a bit more texture. Takes longer to prepare in the toaster than Pop-Tarts. Made with hydrogenated oil.

Those new Toaster Strudel tv ads are super creepy and annoying!
I was disappointed with these. When I saw them, I thought “Ooh! I love caramel apple”! Unfortunately, as your review points out, there wasn’t much flavor to the apple filling, so they were pretty boring. I still have a couple in the freezer after three weeks, which is definitely not normal for me. I may just pull the caramel packages and use them on real apple slices.
And yes, the new commercial is weird and off-putting.
we bought these because my husband loves caramel the store only had one box at the time and my husband was very satisfied with them he had the whole box gone in 2 days and now wants to find more. if these stay on the shelves we will continue to buy them
