Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.
Regular Pringles potato crisps in a sugar cookie flavor would’ve been awesome. After all, Pringles crisps are the same color as sugar cookies. Junk Food Guy has a review. (Spotted by Dubba at Walmart.)
Another seasonal Popchips flavor! Maybe we’ll see more next year. Pecan Pie Popchips has a nice ring to it. (Spotted by Leah at Target.)
Limited Edition Herr’s Baked Ripple Cut Potato Crisps Sweet Potato with Cinnamon Sugar is quite possibly the longest product name I’ve ever typed. (Spotted by Leah at Target.)
Hey, Angizzle! I want to nizzle on your White Chocolate Peppermint and Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Holidrizzle. Yeah! Mid 2000s rule! (Spotted by Yuna at Sprouts.)
Peppermint Bark Muddy Buddies are definitely a seasonal flavor. Peanut Butter and Chocolate, not so much. (Spotted by Yuna at Target.)
The image on the Private Collection Cinnamon Sugar Pita Chips bag is causing me reminisce about Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins. For those of you keeping track at home, yes, that was my second reference to Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins within a week. (Spotted by Sylvia at Ralphs.)
Thank you to all the photo contributors! If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email ([email protected]) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. If you do so, you might see your picture in our next Spotted on Shelves post.
I am still upset that I never got to try Sweet Cinnamon Wheat Thins because I couldn’t find them anywhere!
I wasn’t able to snap a shot, but Chex Mix also has a snickerdoodle flavored Muddy Buddies (at Wal-Mart).
Wow, I’d really like to try the salted caramel popchips. Heck, I’d like to try all of these things! All of this sweet-flavored chip nonsense (which I actually prefer to salty chip nonsense) and whatnot coming around Christmastime… Truly is the most wonderful time of year!
I don’t get it. I keep going to Walmart and Target and actively look for this crap, and it’s not there. Either I don’t live in sugary snack country or they just love everyone else more.
I don’t see a lot of this stuff too. I guess we just live near crappy Walmart and Target stores.
