Pros: Great value for its size (each side is about seven inches). Super cheesy thanks to TWO nacho sauces (the usual Taco Bell nacho cheese sauce and their new zesty nacho sauce). It smells like the wonderful Crunchwrap. Six grams of fiber.
Cons: There isn’t much flavor beyond the seasoned beef and cheese. Most of the red tortilla strips were soggy. New zesty nacho sauce wasn’t zesty enough for me. Seems like another Taco Bell product except in a different form. Reduced fat sour cream gets lost among the two nacho sauces and is just lubricant that allows the seasoned beef to fall out easier. The word “stuft” still bothers me and my computer’s spellcheck.
*Because I live on a rock in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, things are a bit pricier here. You’ll pay less than I did.

Is it just me or is their “new zesty nacho sauce” just fancy slang for the sauce they put on volcano tacos and volcano nachos? It was very similar in taste. Great review as always!
For the price, the grilled stufted nacho is great. I just wish they put something inside it for more support like the crunchwrap supreme. I’ve read that the actual process of making the stufted nacho is a hassle (via Reddit – r/tacobell).
On an unrelated note, please get rid of the auto video/voice playing ads if you can choose what ads get displayed. I just had two of the same ads play and it’s some dumb blonde talking.
Keep up the good work, Marvo!
Taco Bell should jump on the donkey meat bandwagon.
Nothing will be “stuft” for me until they bring back the Chicken Ceaser Grilled Stuft Burrito.
Until then, Stuft is dead to me.
They put more creativity in commercials than half their Grilled ‘stuft’ series.
I wish they’d just stick with Grilled Stuft in burrito form, stuffed nacho doesn’t make sense in this execution, just look at the Crunchwrap…
With it being fairly cheap, I wonder how it would do with no meat. Taco Bell had some kind of zesty quesadilla with just cheese and a zesty sauce inside – this might come close to replacing it with no meat.
There’s that, and I can’t stand their ground beef.
Marvo,
I saw Arizona liquid water enchanter at 7/11 tried to take a pic but I was in a hurry. Will try next time.
I want copious amounts of these but with chicken. Anyone know if that is possible? It probably is, but just checking..
I wondered if this would get a national roll-out. I live near Knoxville, Tennessee, which is a test market for Taco Bell (a random and odd choice, I know). Most of Taco Bell’s menu items taste pretty similar, but I do like how this one can be eaten very easily on the go. If they could only find a way to keep those tortilla strips crunchy!
I live in NYC and they’re $1.89 here…
The one I had, had too much sauce and not enough meat…especially the corners…I’ll stick with the crunch wraps…
Personally, I love these things….I’ve brought at least 3 of them since it’s introduction….with each order, the meat was sufficient (taking into consideration that Taco Bell never puts a lot of meat in any of their offerings), the sauce is great, and the red chip things are always crispy…in fact, the red chip strips are the highlight of the whole thing, i.m.o…here in Dallas, we only pay $1.49, yippy!….I know they won’t, but I hope Taco Bell decides to keep them permanently….
I love it I just wish it was stuffed they should call it not so stuffed nachos;)
Ask them to make it like a burrito instead of that triangle bullshit, best decision of my life
This is why i now like taco bell. ITS SOOOO GOOOD! best decision of my life
