Look at us U.K. We’ve got Ben & Jerry’s Core flavors now. Yup, it’s no longer just “Core flavours”, it’s also now “Core flavors.” You’re not so special anymore. Although, I am jealous you have Ben & Jerry’s Baked Alaska. (Spotted by Andrew at SuperTarget.)
If you’re out shopping and see an interesting new or limited edition product on the shelf, snap a picture of it, and send us an email (theimpulsivebuy@gmail.com) with where you found it and “Spotted” in the subject line. If you do so, you might see your picture in our next Spotted on Shelves post.
Please stop complaining about lack of products you have in the U.S. We in the UK pale in comparison with the amount of products we have especially when it comes to ice cream flavours. All we really have are a few haagen dazs and ben & jerry’s flavours. You have about 50 different brands that we can only wish for. Please appreciate what you have!!
we always want what we can’t or don’t have, eh? I wish we had ketchup chips and all-dressed crispers here while my Canadian friends are jealous of all our goldfish flavors. regional variations and the new “store exclusives” are yet another story. maybe we shouldn’t check out sites like this… never know what were’re missing? nah, I think I’ll just use it as an excuse to travel!
I agree with John. The range we get here in the UK is terrible in comparison. There’s even facebook pages dedicated to bringing US B&J flavours over here.
Omg! yay! Please let this be real.
I still miss the pre-Unilever days when they would try out new flavors in the downtown Burlington scoop shop before rolling it out on store shelves. Cookie dough was like that for years – it took them that long to figure out how to run it through the machines in Waterbury.
I wonder if that was the reason for the UK-first rollout of Core, newer production equipment and/or being made on the same lines as other Unilever ice cream brands overseas?
This is actually B&J’s second go at the core flavors in the US. Karamel Sutra was the only remaining flavor from that line.
Hazelnut flavors are my FAVORITE and so hard to find…even the ones that are more readily available are predominantly chocolate with a hint of hazelnut. SO excited.
