SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 3/10/2014

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Smucker's Magic Shell Chocolate Pretzel

Silly Smucker’s! It’s not magic, it’s coconut oil. (Spotted by Josh at Giant.)

Ball Park Park's Finest Slow Smoked Hickory

Ball Park Park's Finest Crack Dijon Mustard

Ball Bark Park's Finest Smokehouse Barbecue Seasoned

Ball Park Park's Finest Signature Seasoned

I feel regular hot dog buns aren’t fine enough for these. I must find Bimbo Bakeries USA’s finest buns. (Spotted by Sascha at Walmart.)

Talenti Fudge Brownie Gelato

Stop. Stare. Drool. Read On Second Scoop’s reviewool. (Spotted by Josh at Target.)

Duncan Hines Signature Blue Velvet Cake Mix

I thought we covered this already, but with all the red, green, and pink velvet cake mixes I guess I got confused. Also, I will take a wedding cake hostage if someone releases a brown velvet cake mix. (Spotted by Claire G at Weis Markets.)

Keebler Fudge Covered Coconut Dreams Cookies

The Girl Scouts must be happy these don’t look like their Samoas anymore. (Spotted by Leah at Giant.)

  1. Too bad Ball Park doesn’t have a natural casing frank. The Boar’s Head ones are great, but super pricey.

BTW, I was expecting a David Lynch reference when I saw the Blue Velvet cake!

  2. Totally called it with Duncan Hines calling everything Velvet now.

Also, those hot dogs only have 7 per pack? What a waste of a bun. That is, unless they come out with a new “premium” bun which only has 7 for the price of 8.

  3. Why does the Bimbo Bakeries link go to the part about worker safety and workers losing digits and limbs?
