I could buy Crystal Farms’ French Toast Batter to make French toast. Or I could buy Crystal Farms Scrambled Eggs to make French toast AND scrambled eggs. (Spotted by Jamie at Walmart.)
Morningstar Farms breakfast sandwiches I can enjoy in the morning. Thank goodness they didn’t make a sandwich with their awful fakon. (Spotted by Marvo at Safeway.)
Patriotic Peeps. (Spotted by Alex at Jewel-Osco.)
This makes me wonder if Kellogg’s Rice Krispies can snap, crackle, and pop in low fat vanilla yogurt. (Spotted by Ayumi at Walmart.)

I was just talking earlier about how their has never been a rice krispie treat ice cream bar. They could just have it be the texture of frozen rice pudding. I am imagining it being chocolate coated.
Scrambled egg batter in a carton? Jeez, welcome to 2014
I’m all for eggs-in-a-carton (they take some of the terror out of taking eggs home on mass transit), but we-the-consumer are supposed to be so clueless and lazy that we can’t add a couple things to the eggs to use them for specific purposes? Wow.
The era of the Meal Kit makes me feel old for knowing that it’s possible to just buy ingredients and combine them in different ways.
I’m wondering why the Scrambled Eggs in a carton has buttermilk. Is that something I should be doing with my eggs-in-a-shell when I scramble them?
I thought the same thing! A lot of people add regular milk (I just add water) but maybe buttermilk adds more oomph or something.
It looks from cooking blogs like adding buttermilk to scrambled eggs is one of the current kitchen-fussing trends, though it gets shouted down by IF YOUR EGGS ARE NOT FRESH FROM THE HEN, NONE OF THIS HAS MEANING.
Both milk and water have fans, and both have detractors who say it toughens the egg. There are also fans for adding sour cream, for adding sugar and lemon, and for keeping the egg untouched except for a bit of fat in the pan.
Marvo, you seem pretty quick in getting submissions up. So knowing that, I’m guessing those egg products are not hot sellers as they are already a week beyond expiration.
Actually, I think I received that photo 1 1/2 weeks ago.
Yes. They found another way to add sugar to yogurt!

my mom is disabled and bas a hard time even cracking and scrambling eggs, so the carton eggs are a great thing for her. Unfortunately there is rosemary added to those eggs and they end up tasting like soap.
