Ketchup is so ubiquitous that I sometimes forget what it tastes like, if that makes any sense. You see I associate it with hot dogs, fries or hamburgers and rather than realizing the essence of ketchup, I’m recalling the taste of those foods instead. I know it sounds crazy but…
I’d be interested in trying these. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no Dubba, I like a spicy chip as well as the next guy, but I’m a little tired of all the companies trying to out EXTREME! and out MAX! Each other with spicier and spicer chips.
I’ve had ketchup chips, but never mayonnaise flavored ones, and even knowing what mayo tastes like on its own, I can’t even imagine what it would taste like on a chip. Are half these chips mayo and half ketchup, or are all the chips ketchup-mayo? They seem like they’d be good paired with the Pringles EXTREME! sour pickle chips.
Lay’s…how about you do us Americans a flavor and release a limited edition of these and some of the foreign country flavor contest entries from around the world? I’d nosh that many times over!
You do not know how many times I wished for Lay’s to offer international flavors here in the US for a limited time. It’s such an awesome idea.
