SPOTTED ON SHELVES – 7/8/2014

Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.

Dreyer's Limited Edition Slow Churned Fun'n the Sun Banana Split

I’ve had too many spilled ice cream cones and hands that were coated in melted ice cream while holding an ice cream cone to know that fun doesn’t always happen when ice cream and the sun come together. (Spotted by Christian at Stater Bros.)

Chef Boyardee Cups (Chicken Bacon Cheddar and Chicken Jalapeno Alfredo)

Great for snacking AND great for desperate times! (Spotted by Jarred at Walmart.)

Wrigley's Juicy Fruit Bubble Gum (Original and Sweet Strawberry)

I could buy these to make large bubbles or I could attempt to stuff an entire pack of regular Juicy Fruit gum into my mouth. (Spotted by John at Speedway.)

  1. I found the Edy’s banana split at Shoprite and it was decent but nothing spectacular. I found the swirls to be icy

      1. I hope it goes deep clearance because spending $10 for a cake mix is not worth it. Pillsbury and Betty Crocker costs what? $1.25 and even with the frostings and sprinkles it still comes below $10

  2. I still have a unopened Chef Boyardee microwavable meal from ’97 in my cabinet…

    1. You should treat it as a family heirloom, it will only appreciate in value. In fifty years your grandchildren can auction it off on Ebay for hundreds of thousands of dollars.
