  1. $8.00 for 12 cups of hot chocolate?
    Yikes.
I got two boxes (24 packages) of Nestles hot chocolate for $2.00 yesterday.
    Thanks but no thanks.

    1. Welcome to the world of K-cups!

My parents offered to buy me a Keurig machine for Xmas last year or the year before, and I said “no thanks,” as just buying basic coffee in the pods runs about $50 a pound.

I can live with getting coffee grounds all over the kitchen (which, alas, I do, because I’m me) to avoid upping my coffee costs by an order of magnitude.

      1. They do sell reusable K-cup .. pod thingies? (basket? cup? I dunno.) to use with whatever coffee/tea/etc you want.

        1. True, but this year’s new K-cup machine rejects the reusables.

And if I’m running around with coffee grounds, a Melitta cone is less trouble than packing pods anyway.

      2. I have reusable filters for my Keurig. Saves a lot of instead of getting K cups, and I don’t have to brew more than a cup at a time, which is pretty much my limit.

  2. i bought an assorted case of those flavored cocoa kcups a month ago, also had Junior Mint flavor using the website groupon.

    1. Were they any good? Particularly the Tootsie Roll and Vanilla Charleston Chew? Worth buying – and spending shipping costs considering I can’t find these in stores?

  3. The hot cocoa sounds good but they need to make it non k-cup kinds. Also candyblog reviewed queen anne’s cola cherries
