Here are some interesting new and limited edition products found on store shelves by us and your fellow readers. If you’ve tried any of the products, share your thoughts about them in the comments.
Everyone sing with me! Ding! Not Pockets! (Spotted by Kevin at Walmart.)
I bet these go great with Archer Farms bagels. Are there still Archer Farms bagels? Well, if not, I bet they go great with (insert favorite bagel maker here) bagels. (Spotted by Jarred at Target.)
I see Meijer is trying to make Pigs in a Blanket fancy. If they really wanted to make their Mini Franks in a Blanket sound fancy, they should’ve called it Toy Smoked Sausage in a Swathe. (Spotted by jcal at Meijer.)

First product is like two Jim Gaffigan jokes in one. Hot pockets, and vegetarians sure do like to make things taste like meat!
We just like the spices and convenient form, minus the mammalian parasites and occasionnally gaggy texture of real dead animals.
But anything Gardein makes is worth a try. Tofurky has veggie pockets also that are actually vegan, the best to me seems to be the BBQ one. But Gardein really is unusually good in general.
Fun fact: Some veggies have trouble with Gardein because it’s too much like the meat analogs…. Makes them nervous. But it has the even texture of non-meat, so I don’t worry about it.
We need a volunteer to try the Archer Farms cream cheese spreads and report on whether they are better than, worse than, or the same as the rubbery Market Pantry flavored cream cheese spreads that Target had last year.
I am still holding a grudge toward Target over the Market Pantry salted-caramel not-entirely-cream-cheese-like-substance, so that person will not be me.
I just saw Entenmann’s hot cocoa mini filled cupcakes. I don’t know if Entenmann’s is a regional brand (if so, perhaps Dubba could try them and/or send them as his item to you three) as they are in New England). I would be interested in this being a nosh or not item.
