The Veggie Slider uses a veggie patty from Dr. Praeger’s, an all-natural frozen foods company. The seasoned grilled patty is made up of carrots, zucchini, peas, spinach, and broccoli. The Veggie Slider is available either plain or with ranch, honey mustard, or sweet Thai sauce.

It’s nice that vegetarians will now have a slightly better option at White Castles other than just french fries. I found the veggie slider with cheese to be a resounding “meh.” The bun was fine. The patty was greasy and kind of mushy. The flavor was very bland. I doused mine in ketchup and it was only marginally better. Like I said, it’s a nice option, but does nothing for me flavor-wise. I wouldn’t bother getting it again, to be honest, although I don’t eat a lot of fast food in the first place.
