They need to come up with filled marshmallows! Chocolate filling in the middle. Have they done pumpkin spice yet? Or apple spice marshmallows
Snow Balls
(I know it’s just a marshmallow coating, but i couldn’t resist ^^)
If they’re pictured to be sitting on a cupcake, then it should be a cream cheese marshmallow on a red velvet cupcake…
Just picked up a bag of these the other day, and I’m nibbling on them now. They’re okay. They’re cute to look at, and they’re acceptably tasty as marshmallows. They barely taste of chocolate at all, probably because there’s no actual cocoa in them. Just natural and artificial flavors under the “less than 0.5%” heading. So they don’t really pass muster in the flavor department. The “red velvet” thing is mostly visual.
I’m a little disappointed. Oh well.
Got these (along with a bag of pumpkin spiced marshmallows) from Wal-Mart the other day. Wife and I both tried a few and we both agree that these things……taste like normal marshmallows. Kind of like the “Pumpkin” marshmallows they had for Halloween (orange colored and shaped like a pumpkin) – it’s just a visual gimmick but there is no difference (at least they we could tell) between these and a normal bag of marshmallows. Disappointing (especially after falling for the pumpkin ones half a month ago – doh!) and I wish they would stop doing this….
