Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s announced their newest meat, cheese, and bread creation, the Steakhouse Thickburgers.
The new Steakhouse Thickburgers are available with either a 1/3 lb. or 1/2 lb. charbroiled, 100 percent Black Angus beef patty that topped with A.1. Steak Sauce, crumbled blue cheese, crispy onion strings, Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and mayonnaise on the chains’ Fresh Baked Buns.
Wait a minute…I feel as if I’ve written this before.

way to much salt and calories for not even 40 grmas of protein.. that doent include the cheeese and bread.. the half lb is way to muc for anyone unless ur in pakistan sweating it out..and to expensive.. i make my own and they have way less salt.. maybe plp should start doing that..
The only difference is that this version of the Steakhouse Thickburger is on Hardee’s Fresh Baked Buns instead of the sesame buns.
I ASKED for a 1/4 lb. version of this and the 1/3 lb. for my boyfriend and was instead given a 1/2 lb. and a 1/3 lb. I was kind of upset because I really didn’t want or need a burger that big, and now after tasting it, I actually think it would’ve been better as a smaller burger. Sometimes you just get your burger made badly, which is always a possibility (my bf said the one he had before was better), but mine was completely overpowered by the blue cheese. It’s like someone took an ice cream scoop of it and plopped it right in the middle of the burger, no attempts to spread it to the sides or anything. That’s probably actually exactly what happened, but unfortunately it means the A1 sauce and fried onions, hell even the burger itself, went completely unnoticed because all I could taste was the salty funky blue cheese.
Now that i know it has blue cheese don’t want it at all! Last time i went to get texmex burgers got bacon cheese burgers.
