  1. What destinations do these even represent? You could make an argument for a couple – but Brownies ala Mode? Sweet Cream Coffee Caramel? That being said, I’ll knock down anybody who gets in between me and Vanilla Tangerine & Shortbread…

    1. From their website:
Belgian Chocolate —> Belgium (This one was easy ^^)
Sweet Cream Coffee Caramel —> New Orleans
Brownies a la Mode —> Chicago
      Mango —> South America
      Mayan Chocolate —> Mexico
      Toasted Sesame Brittle —> Asia
Vanilla Tangerine and Shortbread —> UK

    2. It’s tentative, but destinations are based are random places around the globe. Somehow the brownie one represents Chicago….

  2. Toasted Sesame Brittle is not a new flavor. Several years ago Haagen Dazs had a flavor contest that was broadcast on the Food Network. Finalist were chosen they were invited to make, test, and tweak recipes. This flavor was not the winner but was available for a limited time in a black container. See how my useless food knowledge comes in handy? Lol

    1. cool story. no one actually said it was new though. so yes, you’re knowledge/story was very useless.

  3. Mayan Chocolate is also a returning flavor, not a new one. It used to be my very, very favorite ice cream flavor. I might have wept when it was discontinued. Now, I might weep tears of joy for its return.

If you’re into the spicy-chocolate combo, you must try it.

  4. Yay! They’re bringing back Mayan Chocolate. (Although I don’t remember the original having truffles in it; this version does, according to the website.) I loved this flavor, and was sad to see it go. I’m also interested in trying the Vanilla Tangerine & Shortbread.

  5. I don’t know about the other flavors, but Haag-dazs has had both Mango ice cream and sorbet for a long time.

  6. Mango is not a new flavor, just repackaged as part of the Destination series.

  7. The Toasted Sesame Brittle is my new favorite ice cream. Absolutely devine. sweet and salty and crunchy. Gotta try it. I hope they never stop making this.

  8. I came across the toasted sesame brittle flavor yesterday at Ralphs, and I can honestly say I no longer have it today, because that’s how good it was! If you’ve had sesame brittle/ sesame snaps before and liked it, then you’ll love this flavor cuz I sure did. The only other Haagen Daz flavor I like more than this one is the Green Tea flavor which is so damn hard to find! It’s available at my local Vons in LA, but its only in stock if I’m lucky! Both flavors are unique and delicious, and I highly recommend them!
