Hey look! Trader Joe’s Candy Coated Chocolate Drops! Or as they were called seven months ago, Trader Joe’s Candy Coated Milk Chocolate Pieces. Or as many people will call them, Trader Joe’s M&M’s. (Spotted by Rachel C at Trader Joe’s.)

Bought the Trader Joe’s Chocolate Drops over the weekend. They’re better than M&M’s. My guess is that they are manufactured in Europe, because all the colors are natural. (Artificial colors aren’t permitted in consumer products there.) The chocolate is also better than normal American chocolate. I put them in some cookies and they worked nicely and tasted good.
The package just says, Trader Joe’s, Monrovia, CA, unfortunately. I’d love to know who the actual maker of these are.
TJ’s frozen Indian foods are fantastic. Some of their best items. I hope the canned ones aren’t just a bunch of mush.
