Burger King’s new Bacon King features two 1/4 lb flame-grilled beef patties, thick-cut smoked bacon, two slices of American cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise on a sesame seed bun.
Some of you who have your insides partially flame-grilled because you’ve eaten a lot of Burger King, might be thinking to yourself, “Hey! Isn’t that just a Burger King Double Stacker without the Stacker sauce and with ketchup and mayo instead?” Not quite. This new burger uses Whopper patties, while the BK Stacker used the smaller beef patties.
Speaking of the Whopper patties, Burger King also introduced the Homestyle Cheeseburger that has the same toppings as a regular cheeseburger, but has a 1/4 lb flame-grilled beef patty instead of the wimpier patty.
The Bacon King has 1040 calories, 69 grams of fat, 28 grams of saturated fat, 2.5 grams of trans fat, 220 milligrams of cholesterol, 1900 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of sugar, 57 grams of protein. The Homestyle Cheeseburger has 550 calories, 27 grams of fat, 12 grams of saturated fat, 1.5 grams of trans fat, 95 milligrams of cholesterol, 1140 milligrams of sodium, 48 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of sugar, and 30 grams of protein.

I wished BK would come back with its Angus Burger that it had a few years back. The Whopper patties taste rather tasteless, it’d be nice to have an alternative to the small patty and the whopper patty.
Just what America needs… a 1000 calorie burger!
Just had it tonight and it’s perfect. If you want a burger that is as filling as a thick burger from Hardee’s with the taste of a Whopper…this is it with extra bacon
A Hardee’s thick burger has no equal
Let me tell you. That is a man’s sandwich. I have had two in the last two weeks. It’s a sandwich that does not disappoint in tackling the biggest appetites.
