Sonic’s Lil’ Doggies and Lil’ Chickies have a new Lil’ cheesy friend. The chain’s new Lil’ Grillers feature mini sourdough toast and American cheese.
The Lil’ Cheese Griller, which comes with just sourdough and cheese, has 170 calories, 13 grams of fat, 6 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 35 milligrams of cholesterol, 700 milligrams of sodium, and 8 grams of protein.
Lil’ Chickie Griller has crispy all-white meat chicken and buffalo sauce. One has 220 calories, 9 grams of fat, 1.5 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 25 milligrams of cholesterol, 490 milligrams of sodium, and 10 grams of protein.
(I’m not sure how the Lil’ Chickie Griller can have 1.5 grams of saturated fat when the Lil’ Cheese Griller has 6 grams. I dunno. Fast food math.)
The Lil’ Patty Griller has a 100 percent beef patty and ketchup. It has 280 calories, 24 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0 grams of trans fat, 35 milligrams of cholesterol, 520 milligrams of sodium, and 10 grams of protein.
There are also breakfast options. You can get a Lil’ Griller with fluffy eggs and your choice of bacon or sausage. The bacon one has 230 calories, 16 grams of fat, 7 grams of saturated fat, 0.5 grams of trans fat, 220 milligrams of cholesterol, 870 milligrams of sodium, and 15 grams of protein.
The Lil’ Grillers start at 79 cents and are available for a limited time.
If you’ve tried any of them, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Just don’t do it. I wasted my calorie count on this today. I ordered the beef patty with extra meat for 50 cents more. It ended up being one almost as thin as 2 slices of cheese. It was a baby meat patty torn in half & placed on the bread. Yuck!
I also ordered a small order of onion rings–which are my favorite, to go with what I thought would be a mini-burger. I got 4 small onion rings for $2.39. Yes they were good, as always but I needed at least 8 more just like them.
Unless you are buying a burger for a 2-year old, skip this entirely!!!
I usually get a corn dog to save points and the lil’ cheese griller was about the same points, just as filling, and much cheaper. I’m thumbs up for a change of pace.
Just scraping the lil’ barrel, I see
What brand of sourdough bread is used. Would like to buy some.
Works great as a 3pm carb cutter. I did 90 squat thrusts, consecutively and concisely, and promptly stuffed 3 of these bad boys in my mouth to get that pump going. Started to gag on the bread but luckily I was able to wash it down with some chocolate malt. Love Sonics, they really fuel my glutes!!
I’ve been in contact with Somic headquarters as their nutrition info is way off. I’m diabetic and count carbs maticuolously and keep tight control. My last A1C was a 6.2. I ate three of these lil’ cheese grillers which were supposed to total at 15 grams of carbs (1serving) and it spiked me bad. I started wondering how two slices of sour dough bread, albeit small, could be 5 grams. I was put in touch with Rick Eckman Director of Operations. He raised heck and in the end they found they were misinformed by the company that provides their bread. They are working to update their nutrition information.
