Ben & Jerry’s has two new flavors you’ll be seeing in the freezer aisle soon with names that may make you say to yourself, “That’s soooo Ben & Jerry’s!”
Truffle Kerfuffle features vanilla ice cream with roasted pecans, fudge chips, and a salted chocolate ganache swirl. Urban Bourbon has burnt caramel ice cream with almonds, fudge flakes, and bourbon caramel swirls.
While pecan, almonds, fudge chips, and bourbon aren’t new to the Ben & Jerry’s universe, the salted chocolate ganache swirl and burnt caramel ice cream are. Also, it appears the Flavor Gurus at Ben & Jerry’s REALLY like bourbon because they’ve included it in a couple of flavors over the past year or so.
Hat tip to our friend Candy Hunting for letting us know about these new flavors.
hm… Bourban Urban sounds great! Now i just have to figure out how to get the pecans from Truffle Keruffle into Bourban Urban… hm… 😀
Love B&J but neither of these flavors sounds exciting to me.
I wonder what flavors are going away to make room?
Big fan of Ben and Jerry’s, so I will definitely try both. Very interested in the salted chocolate ganache swirl.
