I’m the one who spotted the Mr Green Tea ice creams, and for those who haven’t tried them (I’m looking right at you, Marvo!) they’re definitely worth trying out! The Black Sesame is my favorite; the fortune cookie flavor has a nice premium vanilla ice cream base to it but the cookie pieces become soggy and kind of ruin it, however.
Honestly, I bet these new flavors will be delicious but I’m disappointed and baffled they decided to release these flavors. A week or so ago I would have been all over the Cold Brew, but Enlightened released a flavor of this and after trying all their new releases which they were kind enough to send me, the Cold Brew was actually one of my favorites and reminded me of a thicker version of Chick-fil-A’s frosted coffee so I don’t really care to try one that couldn’t possibly be as satisfying for one serving being what one pint of Enlightened is. Mr Green Tea has a lot of ethnic ice creams, so I was hoping a new flavor would have included Taro since it’s very common in some frozen yogurt shops and would have been a delicious addition that fit perfectly with their company!
