On March 17, St. Patrick’s Day, Krispy Kreme will be selling a festive doughnut that features a green glaze and specially formulated green dough.
The clover-colored glazed doughnut made its debut last year, but this year, for the holiday, the chain will change the name of its iconic doughnut from Original Glazed to O’riginal Glazed.
Krispy Kreme Green O’riginal Glazed Doughnut will be available for one day only at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada. You can find out which shops are participating by clicking this link.
If you’ve tried it, let us know what you think of it in the comments.

Yeah… That doesn’t look like slime at all. /appealing
Oh, ew. It looks like it’s covered in algae.
Perhaps they should have just gone with a green-ish icing vs whole hog doing green donuts. That’s not going to end horribly/freak people out later after digestion .. lol I’d totally visit Krispy Kreme if there was one local, but as-is there is 1 store in all of my area about 45 min away.. Best I can get is pre-packaged at the grocery store, or overpay at gas stations.
