Starbucks’ newest beverage was inspired by jalao, a coconut and honey treat from the Dominican Republic.
The Toasted Coconut Cold Brew combines Starbucks’ Nariño 70 Cold Brew with toasted coconut syrup, and then it’s topped with a splash of coconutmilk.
It’s available for a limited time at participating Starbucks in the U.S. and Canada.

Tried it today with my older brother and we both hated it. The coconut milk at Starbucks honestly isn’t good at all and it had a really strange, unappetizing flavor to it. I also tried their gluten free canadian bacon breakfast sandwich and wasn’t impressed. Tasted like cardboard (I’ve had other gluten free muffins before like Mikey’s and Nutiva and loved them), worst english muffin I’ve ever had. Egg tasted fake, too, surprisingly. Chick-fil-A’s egg on their muffin sandwiches is still by far my favorite, but overall my favorite egg mcmuffin sandwiches are still McDonald’s.
