I don’t even need to try it to know it won’t give me a boost… 32 milligrams of caffeine, I’m pretty sure I’ve eaten Hershey’s chocolate with more caffeine than that – it’s pathetic! Still, I think the flavor sounds very interesting and I’m hoping to try it this weekend (given they don’t sell out first). I really like the more innovative flavors they’ve been going for! Hopefully it won’t have a weird saltiness to it like the chocolate truffle twist n dip breadstick-er, bagel they had a couple months ago. Really hoping for an early review so if it’s disappointing I learn this before I waste a breakfast on it!
Edit: I tried the new espresso buzz bagel this morning. I liked it, but there was nothing earth shattering about it, the coffee flavor was very subtle if it was there at all. I drink a lot of coffee so maybe it’s something people who don’t drink coffee normally would notice more, but since that isn’t their target market I feel they should’ve made the flavor stronger. If I were blindfolded I would have assumed it was a regular plain bagel, honestly. I even ordered it toasted without cream cheese or anything so I would hopefully taste it more and I didn’t. However, they apparently also came out with new cold brew (WHY DID THEY NOT ADVERTISE THIS) so I got a vanilla hazelnut one and LOVED IT. I enjoyed it more than the cold brew at Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts!
