This summer, for a limited time, Starbucks is offering two new layered Frappuccino Crèmes that feature summer fruit flavors.
The Berry Prickly Pear Frappuccino Blended Crème starts with a strawberry and prickly pear puree that also features a little bit of hibiscus, passionfruit, and lime. It’s then topped with a Frappuccino Blended Creme Base with mango syrup, milk, and ice. Then that’s topped with more puree. The Mango Pineapple Frappuccino Blended Crème is layered the same way except the puree is made with mango, pineapple, and a hint of lime. Neither have whipped cream.

I had the Mango Pineapple yesterday. It reminds me a little of a Creamsicle but with mango. I really didn’t taste much of the pineapple. Other than that, I thought it was pretty decent.
I ordered the mango one yesterday and it was pretty mediocre. It tasted vaguely of a wannabe Creamsicle when mixed, and the puree on its own reminded me of baby food. I definitely tasted the mango, but the pineapple was nowhere to be found. It was pretty, but it wasn’t tasty enough for me to want to order it again.
I really wish they’d do more with raspberry instead of strawberry.. then i’d be able to taste more hah.
The berry prickly pear one, disgusting. Being brutally honest. The cream mango part is disgusting. And the berry part is too sour . It made me so sick after I had a few sips.
