SPOTTED ON SHELVES: Limited Edition PB&J Oreo Cookies

Limited Edition PB J Oreo Cookies

Update: We reviewed it! Click here to read our review.

It would’ve been crazy if Nabisco figured out how to make white bread flavored-wafers. But we have to settle for plain ol’ Golden wafers. This a Kroger-exclusive flavor. (Spotted by Jordan A at Kroger.)

  1. What is the flavor of the jelly creme? It should tell the flavor! I hope it is grape flavored.

    1. My guess is “mixed fruit.” A buddy of mine used to say that “mixed fruit” jelly was what they squeegeed up off the floor at the jelly factory and threw into a vat, but I don’t think there’s any truth to that.

    2. I think it’s grape, but the ingredients list just says “natural flavors.” It tastes more like grape than strawberry to me, though.

It is reminiscent of the jelly donut jelly flavor. I wasn’t all that impressed…but mostly because I felt like there was a weird aftertaste. Maybe it was just my batch, though…

  2. I’ve made my own peanut butter and jelly Oreos before by just taking the cream out of Golden Oreos and they’re pretty good… hopefully this lives up to that

  3. Is this a Kroger exclusive? My Kroger doesn’t have it and neither does Walmart. Also no Mississippi Mud Oreos or Top Ramen Pringles at our Dollar General. Very disappointed lately ?

      1. Sorry I meant Kroger brand stores as the other poster pointed out like Fred Meyer etc. Just wondered if my Kroger didn’t have it, if one of their affiliates would. Walmart didn’t have limited edition flavors of any kind.

  4. I found them at Kroger. The jelly part was not good to me at all; it just tasted weird. It would have been much better if it were an actual jelly layer (like on the Knotts Berry Farm shortbread cookies) The peanut butter portion could have been “pea-nuttier”. I love a good PB&J, but this was not it ?
